Kai Liu

A first-generation Chinese American, Kai built his career by confronting the same challenges he now helps others overcome: a stutter, fear of public speaking, and difficulty expressing ideas with confidence. Teaching English while learning Mandarin in China helped him find his voice. His work grew from language training and education consulting into competitive speech, debate, storytelling, and leadership development for students and professionals.

- Division N Director, District 85 (2019-2020), leading 20 clubs and approximately 500 members.

Coached national champions and finalists across HOSA, USAD, National History Day, ESDP, TOC, WSDA, and the World Forensics League in original oratory, expository speaking, storytelling, debate, hosting, writing, and interviews.
He has also served as a judge for Toastmasters, USAD, HOSA, WSDA, and Star of Outlook competitions.

Delivered training in business storytelling, persuasion, customer service, investor pitching, presentation skills, and sales communication for Microsoft, Entegris, AIA, fintech teams, law firms, and creative companies.
A TEDxSMIC speaker and TEDx coach, Kai has presented in New York, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and cities across China.
